GAIA Chanting Circle

GAIA Chanting CIRCLE is a growing network of chanting circles. Our mission is to use chanting as a vehicle for global transformation and healing. We are open to wisdom from all traditions without being linked to any one teaching or ideology. Our sacred chant collection includes chants from the Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Native American, Sikh, and Sufi traditions.

The first chapter of Global Chanting Circle, which began in 1996, continues to meet every week in Tucson, Az. It has over 150 members. The simple format developed in this circle, which serves as the model for other Global Chant chapters, includes:

Intention-Setting. At the beginning of a session, each member dedicates the love, blessings, and healing energy that is to be generated in the circle. Whether it be ;humans,animals,plants or other.

Chanting. On average, we chant 5-7 sacred chants from each session. Words to the chants are provided to each member of the circle, along with percussion instruments to those who wish to play them. The chants serve to generate healing energy and to open each member of the circle to the flow of that energy.

Healing Meditation. After the chanting is done, we have 10 minutes that we spend in silence. During that time, you can do your own personal meditation, or send healing to someone in need or yourself!

Closing Prayers. We close the circle by affirming our intention that the energy we generate as a group serve the spiritual needs of all beings.

Our typical session lasts about an hour. We maximize the time spent in chanting and meditation while minimizing the time spent in conversation. There are no lectures or sermons in Global Chant, and we do not promote any personal, financial, religious, or political agenda. The chanting circle is our sanctuary, which means that it is a place of safety, holiness, healing and healing of GAIA, (Earth Mother) and all. (if that is what you choose)

The role of the  GAIA Global Chant facilitator is to serve the healing mission of the group and to promote the welfare of the chanting circle and its members. Open YOUR Pineal in the 5th!

This first course in Medical Qi Gong will concentrate on building a comprehensive foundation of esoteric medicine with a focus on Medical Qi Gong therapy and traditional Chinese Medicine. It is designed to introduce you to the basic theories of energy cultivation. You will learn techniques to strengthen the body’s protective energy field (Wei Qi) and to avoid absorbing toxic Qi while in a clinical setting.

Other topics covered in this introductory course will include the three Dao Yin regulations of Chinese Medical Qi Gong therapy (respiration, posture, and mental training) as well as the tonification, purgation, and regulation of the body’s internal organs and twelve primary and eight extraordinary channels, emotional detoxification, the six healing sounds, and energizing the body’s three Dan Tians.

Medical Qi Gong II builds on the techniques learned in Level I.  Learn to stimulate energy flow in the body’s energetic channels to help regulate nerve function, strengthen the body’s immune system, and promote the circulation of Qi and blood.

Students will learn how to categorize Medical Qi Gong exercises and meditations, basic Medical Qi Gong prescriptions, and to create a personal Medical Qi Gong work out.

This in-depth course explores acupuncture/acupressure points and their energetic relationship to the corresponding organ systems.   The class provides an integrated format of lecture and hands-on location, deepening the understanding of the core principles of Oriental Medicine and the Acutonics Healing System.

This class is required for certification if the student is not an acupuncturist. Required for practitioner certification

This course examines the textures of disease and the pathology of many of the most current and least understood illnesses of our time.  We will explore the epistemology and etiology of a disease from an Eastern and Western biomedical model, and examine common pathologies encountered in clinical practice.  Students will learn treatment protocols using the Acutonics Healing System to balance and harmonize the disease process.

This class focuses on the personality, drama, diagnostics, and applications that unfold with each harmonic interval in the Acutonics Healing System. By looking in depth at the archetype of each planetary tone and its healing effect on the body, practitioners become aware of the deep effects of these tones in a sound healing treatment.  In this class, participants explore the unique harmonics, parallel fifths, and the seeds of transformation that reside in the spaces in between.  In addition, the powerful archetypes and tones of Nibiru and the Acutonics Asteroid Series are introduced.

This hands-on three-day class also focuses on the clinical applications of these powerful intervals. Practitioners expand their knowledge of the Planetary Tuning Forks and learn how to work with and integrate Chiron, Nibiru, and the Acutonics Asteroid Series.
